Puff and Create classes are a laid back version of a formal art class, it’s less about technique and more about relaxing and having fun. The experience should not pressure you to create a perfect piece of art, they’re about releasing the stress of your life and using your creativity to guide you. It's about being part of an atmosphere that is relaxed, open-minded, and I'll allows you to freely create your own original masterpiece no matter your level of art knowledge.

Smoking, eating edibles, and other marijuana intake is allowed (and encouraged!), but certainly not required

- BYOC (Bring you own Cannabis)

- Wear clothes you aren’t afraid to get dirty or stained (We have limited smocks)

- Come prepared to smoke, create, chat, indulge, and probably laugh harder than you ever have before.

About the instructor:

My name is Tanya Herrera, I'm a local artist in San Francisco California. I am a first generation Costa Rican American born here in the Bay Area and I have been making all sorts of art since I can remember but I am known professionally for my Pyrography and Heat Art for the past 14+ years. At the beginning of 2020 I had started gathering supplies to teach all ages classes, but obviously that came to a grinding halt like everything else by March of that year. In that time I noticed increased stress levels with not only lockdown but the rising cost of living in general. I wanted to create a space where adults can push thier worries to the back of their mind and take time for themselves to have fun and make something tactile.

I use cannabis and art as a stress relief myself and wanted to gift that to my students. On top of creating in every class we also have snacks, drinks and raffle prizes donated by local companies in the community to further create relationships that uplift. Puff and Create classes not only focus on paint and woodburning but any of the 20 mediums I know how to use myself (All age & private classes available upon request). Cannabis does not have to be consumed to participate in these classes, all over 21+ are welcome.
